Trained to stalk and spy, a former CIA officer, Brain Jeffery Raymond,47, of La Mesa, California, drugged and sexually abused about two dozen women or more.  He took hundreds of videos and photographs. Raymond's documentation of evidence was keen  (news source reports claim he had over 500 of such evidence takes) of his targeted women in naked, unconscious condition dating to 2006 in various countries where he was stationed, officials said. 

The New York Post reported (retrieved 11/8/2023) : "Investigators combing his devices found an incriminating online search history for phrases such as 'Ambien and alcohol and pass out' and 'vodka & valium.'  In one email to an online pharmacy, Raymond wrote, 'Hello, do you have chloral hydrate for insomnia?'"

 "The case was just the latest embarrassment for the CIA, which in recent months has seen a reckoning over its often secretive and antiquated handling of sexual misconduct claims within the sky agency" reported USA TODAY (retrieved: 11/8/2023).  Cited also by USA TODAY: "The Associated Press found at least two dozen women have come forward to tell authorities and Congress about sexual assaults, unwanted touching and what they contend are the CIA's efforts to silence them.  One CIA officer trainee was convicted in August of assault and battery for wrapping a scarf around a colleague's neck and trying to kiss her inside a stairwell at the agency's headquarters in Langley, Virginia."  Which " CIA Director William Burns in May launched a series of reforms to streamline claims, support victims and more quickly discipline those involved in misconduct."

Raymond worked at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City from 2018 until 2020, some news reports added.  He was finally arrested in Mexico City, where he had been stationed, in 2020, after a woman he met on the dating app Tinder was found screaming for help from his balcony, which in turn caused a neighbor to call police, according to court documents.  

Sex addicts desire to relieve their lustful tormenting minds via new victims, grows to consume one's very existence.  As for Brian Raymond, he pleaded guilty to sexual abuse, abusive sexual contact, coercion and enticement, and transportation of obscene material, according to court documents.  He will be sentenced to 24 to 30 years in prison, the U.S. attorney's office in Washington, D.C., said in a statement.  Raymond will also be under supervised release for life and must pay restitution to his victims, the U.S. attorney's office said.
