RAPE VICTIMS ARE MOST OFTEN SILENCED OR THE CRIME COVERED UP

 THE RAPE OF TINA ANDERSON BY ERNEST WILLIS – COVERED UP BY THE UNHOLY ACTIONS OF PASTOR CHUCK PHELPS

Source: April 8, 2011 Elizabeth Vargus correspondent with ABC News 20/20 aired “Shattered Faith.” Outline: Pastor Chuck Phelps told a 20/20 producer that Tina Anderson had an ongoing dating relationship with a married man that had turned sexual in nature.   In truth, Anderson said she had been raped by Ernest Willis (the man in question), as the facts within this legal case so confirmed in court of law.  At question in the Supreme Court case, was protection of Phelps and Willis conversations to be afforded?  Which they were found not to be, and provided the court with concrete evidence of the wrong doing.  Wikipedia was also used as a source for this report.

In 2010, a former member of Trinity Baptist Church, Tina Anderson, accused Ernest Willis, another former member, of raping her twice in 1997 when she was 15 years old.   Rape is a very serious crime!  At the time, the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Concord, New Hampshire,  was the Rev. Chuck Phelps (a graduate of Bob Jones University).  Anderson charged that Phelps forced her to "confess her sin" before the congregation, which is a mentally sick recourse, as God alone forgives us of our sins.  Phelps then help quiet and cover up the true crime of rape, by sending the shamed, Anderson away to Colorado during her pregnancy, where she then gave up her baby for adoption. 

According to news reports, Anderson's mother has consistently supported Phelps, crediting him with the "purest of motives."  This in and of itself is very sad, as mother turns her back on her very young daughter when she was in need of love, help, and encouragement.  Betrayal, plain and simple.   Phelps took aim at attacking Anderson, as the cause and effect of the sin, instead of the agent of the rape, Ernest Willis, who was fueled by lust, and ultimately used by Satan, as "a disciple of destruction".  Willis remained welcomed in at Trinity Baptist Church, while rape victim Anderson, was made to appear as a seducer of a very good, married, family, religious man.  Never mind that he was an older man who raped, a young, teenage, under age girl.

Then we have Rev. Chuck Phelps acting to hide the sin behind Biblical law and recourse, instead of God's gift of love, mercy, grace, and Holy forgiveness. Brian Fuller, the current pastor (also a Bob Jones University grad), expressed regret about the way Trinity Baptist had handled the incident and also regretted that Willis had been allowed to remain a church member for seven years following the incident.  Yes, I regret this too, as I ponder Tina Anderson's shattered life, filled with regret, pain, and sorrow.

WHERE IS THE LOVE OF GOD?

Anderson perhaps, may long in secret for the embrace of the baby she was urged to give away.  Adoption is a very good thing, but one should never be coerced to give up their unborn child.  Could it be Anderson feels she turned her back on her baby like her own mother did her?  I pray this isn't so.  I also pray God convicts the minds of our spiritual leaders to uphold the utmost commandment of all, to show love.  Instead of serving to hide the unholy vice of criminal sexual rape!

As for Bruce Willis? The older man who "raped" a young, teenage, under age girl.  The mind of a sick, criminal is a deep pit.  Sexual assault, abuse, and rape,  are hideous, evil,  and demonic.   I pray Willis repents of his double life of sin, and seeks God while He may still be found.  

 As for the Rev. Chuck Phelps?  

He was still welcomed to sit on the Bob Jones University board of trustees.  When our spiritual leaders are not held accountable, and encouraged to seek and undergo, deep spiritual counseling concerning their ungodly, lack of biblical actions, we all suffer.  Sexual abuse is not of, nor from God.  Those who hide such sin, are likewise, not being used by God.
