A TV news station in North Carolina reports that former Presidential candidate John Edward's will admit he is the father of his former campaign aide's 18 month old baby girl. WRAL says sources told the station Edwards' public admission could come before the end of the ongoing criminal investigation into whether his campaign illegally paid the woman, campaign videographer Rielle Hunter, to keep quiet about their affair. The news comes a day after the National Enquirer reported that a secret DNA test proved Edwards' paternity.
LARRY KING INTERVIEW WITH ELIZABETH EDWARDS ON AUGUST 19. 2009:
CNN's Larry King asked Elizabeth Edwards last night on the Larry King Live show(August 19, 2009), if a DNA test was going to happen in relation to her husband John Edward's being the father of Rielle Hunter's baby. Elizabeth said, "My expectation is that, at some point, something happens, and I hope for the sake of this child that it happens...in a quiet way."
I am sure Mrs. Edwards does want what will happen to be done in a "quiet" way! Elizabeth Edwards actions speak for themselves. She has lied to the public concerning her husbands love affair, and political affairs. She, like her husband, talks from two sides of her mouth, and is not to be trusted. Geraldo Rivera blasted Elizabeth Edward's actions on Bill O'Reilly's Fox News show, stating she knew all along that Reille Hunter's baby was her husbands child. That the time line of events proved she knew.

Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera discuss the DNA testing of John Edwards love child with Rielle Hunter. "...This man is a dispicable low life," Rivera said. Rivera goes no to claim as news reports reveal, Andrew Young took the fall for John Edwards claiming he was the father of Rielle Hunter's baby, even forwarding money to help care for her. "Now it is a Federal crime, said O'Reilly. Rivera stated Andrew Young has turned on John Edwards, and claims Hunter and Edwards even made a sex tape.

John Reid Edwards
Democratic presidential hopeful and former Senator John Edwards, 55(born 1953),is the son of a textile-mill worker and a postal employee(Columbia Encyclopedia). *John Edwards married his wife Elizabeth on July 30, 1977. They are the parents of four children, Wade(born 1979, died in a car accident in 1996), Cate(Born 1982), Emma Claire(1998) and Jack(2000).
On November 3, 2004, Elizabeth was diagnosed with breast cancer, went through chemotherapy and radiation treatment and in early 2006 was reported as doing well. March 22, 2007, Elizabeth and John revealed that her cancer had recurred and possibly spread to her lungs, ribs and hip. Her University of North Carolina doctor declared Elizabeth's cancer as incurable but treatable. Despite her illness Elizabeth remained active in her husband's campaign for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination
August 8, 2008,John Edwards admitted on ABC News "Nightline" about an affair he had with Ms.Rielle Hunter. According to John Edwards he had confessed his affair with Hunter to wife Elizabeth in 2006, stating the affair occurred when Elizabeth's cancer was in remission. Ms.Hunter gave birth to a baby girl named Francis Qinn Hunter on Febuary 27, 2008, whom many claim is Edward's love child. The National Enquirer first broke the story of Edwards and Hunter, posting on a subsequent news cover story the picture of a male who looked like John Edwards holding a baby. The cover caption read in caps:"JOHN EDWARDS WITH LOVE CHILD."
John Edwards often preached beaming a charismatic broad smile: "A new morality in America." Good looking, well manicured, brown haired blue eyed Edwards described myself during the ABC interview as self focused and narcissistic. The Edwards campaign paid Rielle Hunter $114,000 for films she made of John Edwards behind the campaign scene.
The Enquirer reports concerning additional hush money paid to Hunter: "Edwards is not only aware of the hush money payoffs but orchestrated it with his team of former campaign advisors and now The Enquirer has discovered that a team of six more layers have been involved in the coverup and the funneling payments to Hunter, who has no money and no means of support. The Enquirer has also learned that Hunter's own lawyer advised her to allow Edwards to take a paternity test but she refused out of misguided belief that Edwards will marry her after the death of Elizabeth Edwards."

ELIZABETH EDWARDS RELEASED A STATEMENT AUGUST 9Th, 2008, VOWING TO STAND BY HER MAN:
"Our family has been through a lot. Some caused by nature, some caused by human weakness, and some most recently caused by the desire for sensationalism and profit without any regard for the human consequences. None of these has been easy. But we have stood with one another through them all. Although John believes he should stand alone and take the consequences of his action now, when the door closes behind him, he has his family waiting for him.
'John made a terrible mistake in 2006.
The fact that it is a mistake that many others have made before him did not make it any easier for me to hear when he told me what he had done. But he did tell me. And we began a long and painful process in 2006, a process oddly made somewhat easier with my diagnosis in March of 2007. This was our private matter, and I frankly wanted it to be private because as painful as it was I did not want to have to play it out on a public stage as well. Because of a recent string of hurtful and absurd lies in a tabloid publication, because of a picture falsely suggesting that John was spending time with a child it wrongly alleged he had fathered outside our marriage, our private matter could no longer be wholly private. The pain of the long journey since 2006 was about to be renewed.
'John has spoken in a long on camera interview. Admitting one's mistakes is a hard thing for anyone to do. I am proud of the courage John showed by his honesty in the face of shame. The toll on our family of news helicopters over our house and reporters in our driveway is yet unknown. but now the truth is out and the repair work that began in 2006 will continue. I ask that the public, who expressed concern about the harm John's conduct has done to us,think also about the real harm that the present voyeurism does and give me my family the privacy we need at this time."

RIELLE HUNTER - (LISA DRUCK)
Rielle Hunter was formerly known as Lisa Druck, a once Flordia native. Rielle lived in New York, and was known to be a party girl in Manhattan, tagged to be the inspiration for a 1987 Jay Mclnerney novel. Lisa moved to Los Angeles, where she met and married Alexander "Kip" Munro Hunter III. Fox News reports (Roger Friedman, Friday, August 08, 2008), "According to his own bio, Kip Hunter lived in New York from around 1990 to about 2005, and he had his own law firm, Hunter & Associates, where he specialized in general corporate representation."
In 2000, Lisa Druck, now single, ended up in Los Angeles as Rielle Hunter. From there Rielle wrote, produced, acted in and self-distributed a comedy called "Billy Bob and Them," which is said to have a new age, vauge plot. In 2006, Rielle and Mimi Hockman, a New York party planner, pitched the idea of doing Web only short pieces to Edwards. The pair sought the help of Colin Weil, an experienced ad man whose company created AIDS Walk in Los Angeles in 1984. Early in the 2007 campaign the project was cancelled.
News reports Rielle Hunter became pregnant by Edwards around May 2007, giving birth in February 2008, to a baby girl, she named Francis Quinn. The National Enquirer made force of the issue in October 2007. John Edwards admitted baby Quinn was his love child on January 21,2010 (wikipedia), and abruptly pulled out of the Presidential race on January 30,2008.
Edwards on June 3, 2011, faced legal proceedings when a North Carolina grand jury charged him on six felony counts, with legal inquiry into his use of campaign funds in a cover up effort of his affair with Hunter. On May 31, 2012, Edwards was found not guilty of one count, and a mistrial on the remaining five counts (wikipedia).
SEX, LIES, AND A LOVE CHILD NAMED FRANCES QUINN - JOHN EDWARDS AFFAIR
CHICAGOTRIBUNE.COM, CHANGE OF SUBJECT BY ERIK ZORN, AUGUST 11, 2008:
"If in fact, John Edwards confessed his 2006 infidelity to his wife, Elizabeth, before he announced his run for the presidency, as he now says, then she's a co-conspirator in his betrayal of those who donated significant time and money to his campaign."
COURIER-JOURNAL.COM, LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY, SOUTHERN INDIANA, TAMARA IKENBERG, AUGUST 15, 2008:
Some see Elizabeth's staying power as proof of strength and commitment to her family. Others don't think it's so saintly and aren't willing to accept the "They all do it" excuse anymore.
"This is not good for women," says Washington Post writer and political commentator Sally Quinn. "I'm not getting used to it. I find it maddening, baffling and pathetic. What it says to children is: "It's OK for Dad to do this: and you're saying to every young man: "You can get away with it.'"
THE HUGGINGTON POST, BONNIE FULLER, AUGUST 9, 2008, "ELIZABETH EDWARDS DRANK HER HUSBAND'S KOOL-AID AND BECAME HIS "AMBITION ENABLER":
"The bigger question is 'why did Elizabeth Edwards drink her husband's kool-Aid?' How could she have possibly believed that her husband's affair would remain a private matter when he was running for President of the United States? Hello, The National Enquirer had already broken the story last fall. Why in fact, did she knowingly encourage her spouse to even enter the campaign when she had been fully informed about the affair for over a year? And she helped support and propagate John Edwards' image as a devoted husband and family man."
"His success, now defined her success, so she was willing to go along with the fraud that their marriage was fine, believes psychologist Victoria Zdrok,..."
"Her terminal illness may actually have also played a role in her decision to publicly stand by her man and his presidental ambitions, according to Zdrok. 'When we seek death, we often seek to achieve a symbolic immortality. And becoming a presidential wife could have been that for her.'"

Their Pain From Our Hypocrisy" -
"I'll be brutally blunt. Its the same reason that if I were a man, ain't no way in hell I'd want to have sex with a woman missing one or both breasts. Making love to a woman with this condition and the scars would be nothing short of a mercy f---. I would hope she'd keep on a padded bra and tee shirt and my dick stayed hard."
DETROIT FREE PRESS, "ELIZABETH EDWARDS STAYS FOCUSED ON KIDS," PATRICIA ANSTETT, FREE PRESS MEDICAL WRITIER, SEPTEMBER 18, 2008:
Elizabeth Edwards says the admission by her husband, John Edwards, of an affair has helped her focus on the importance of her children and issues like health reform as she goes through "an on going process of finding her feet again."
In the Detroit Free Press article Elizabeth Edwards is quoted as saying:
"There's a lot of adjustment to make, "
"When you mention trust, that's probably the most difficult hurdle."
Asked whether she has forgiven her husband, Edwards replied: "I don't want to fee the monster, if you don't mind."
She said that had her leg been amputated, instead of a child dying or her husband having an affair, people would ask: "Are you over that leg thing yet?"
"I have to prepare for the possibility if I die before they are grown and " make them "able to function without an involved, engaged and admiring parent," she said. "So I need to create the picture for them that I want them to have."
She is also resuming her advocacy...
Edwards said she postponed having the exam for about eight years even after a benign spot showed up on a test. She blames herself, saying that like many women, she was too busy with her children's lives and was preoccupied with trying to get pregnant.
"As I'm planning to do things, as I'm putting together a list of priorities, going to Build-a-Bear turns out to be more important," she said, referring to the stores where customers can create stuffed bears.
Side notes of this news article included in the margin:
Elizabeth Edwards says she and her husband aren't a perfect couple and there is not perfection in life. Take what you have and make the most of it, she says. Even in bad things, you have clarity about what's important.
Elizabeth Edwards declines to address whether she has gotten over her husband's affair. She compares any loss to losing a leg. You can learn to walk without one, but it always will be a part of you.
2010: Elizabeth Edwards passed away after a battle with cancer, on December 7, 2010.
2018 - Francis Quinn, now 10 years old, is said to be a very happy child, loved by both parents.
